 Elmo was a hit! July 31, 2010

I bought this for a friend's 2nd birthday party and boy was Elmo a hit! I brought Elmo to my local party store where they only charged 54 cents to blow him up! Despite being beat up by a bratty 4 year old (serveral times) and being dragged all over the house (even being shoved into a tunnel) this well loved and well hugged Elmo is still alive and well a week later....I highly recommend this balloon!

It is a very nice balloon. I bought it for a nephew that lives in other country. When they open it found that it was punctured, in the back... they placed a tape on the hole but it never was going to be the same.

I got this because I found a super low price, considering it's size. Turns out this Elmo balloon was the hit of my daughter's party!!! We had a bowling party and Elmo made his way all over the bowling alley. He sat at the table when the kids ate. He was toted around by about eight 2 and 3 year olds and even slightly beat up on by the older kids :\ My daughter's party was almost a week ago and Elmo is still meandering all over our house, even with all the "love and attention" he's received.
My only warning to those purchasing this is that it can be expensive to inflate. We lucked out and the bowling alley inflated it for us. But one shop in our area was wanting $36 to inflate it (they are often expensive anyways, though!). So, just be aware that it may be on the expensive side to blow up.
As a side note, when inflating it, one of the feet exploded on the seam. We simply stuffed the foot with produce bags and taped it up.....easy fix. This would work on each part, except for maybe the body.

Purchased this for entertainment at my twins 2nd b-day party. Huge sucess. Holds helium well. Still somewhat inflated 3 wks later, which includes sometimes "rough" treatment from toddlers. Wish I would have gotten another, so they could both play at the same time. The kids loved "taking Elmo for a walk". Found similar product on other sites for more $ - buy this one. Only downside we found was that the cardboard pieces taped to the bottom of the feet for weight, fall off (or picked of by curious toddlers) easily. We solved this by attaching a ribbon to Elmo like you would any helium ballon, so he could be removed from the ceiling easily. (***note: head, body, arms, & feet only inflate -legs are intended to be flat)

The Elmo Airwalker was cute but the head was backwards and faced the opposite direction of the feet. Luckily my child is young and didn't know the difference. Pretty disappointed.
